Rimmel English Rose eyeshadow+lipstick review <3

Hi all lovelies 🙂 First of all, I want to give a bigggg HUG and THANK YOU to all of you who come to my blog and support me warmly. It means a lot to me. Love you ladies! 🙂

I really like to paired items up to create a nice theme, and today I come up a pink rose theme. Rose is definitely my favorite flower and scent, its just so elegant  and soft. 

So on to the topic, I wanna give a review on Rimmel London’s Glam’s Eyes HD Quad eyeshadow in 005 English Rose. And I paired it up with a Rimmel Lasting Finish Lipstick  in 002 Candy. 

So here is a photo of them together, I think they’re soooo pretty ❤ 

The eyeshadow quad has a soft pink with tiny gold shimmer, a medium brown taupe, a medium brown with pink undertone, and a deep brown with purple undertone shadow( but the pueple doesn’t show up once swatch).

Colors: 10/10 very pretty warm colors, not super shimmering so good for everyday look

Pigmentation: 10/10 good pigmentation, the color shows up on the skin is almost the same in the pan

Texture: 10/10 smooth and buttery, blends well

Lasting power: 8/10 good for 5-6 hours without a primer

Packaging: 4/10 good looking, but not so efficient for using. The browns are hard to dip in with a brush

Price: 10/10 Really cheap in drugstores, and often have promotions and discounts

Overall: 8/10 a very nice quad to have, packaging needs to be improved though 🙂

 

Next, let get on to the lipstick:)

Swatches with 2 times (top) and with 6 times (bottom):

Color: 4/10 the soft blue tone pink is gorgeous, however the silver shimmer makes it look frosty.

Pigmentation: 4/10 as you can see from the swatches, its a very sheer pigmentation that looks almost like a tinted lip balm. However, you can build up the color to achieve a nice pinky lip (at least 6 times application though!!)

Texture: 5/10 you can feel the shimmer particles, not very smooth, a little dying 

Lasting Power: 8/10 stays on me for 3-4 hours with little drinking 

Packaging: 7/10 standard lipstick tube 

Price: 10/10 very affordable and often has discounts

Overall: 4/10 Not a big fan of this color, but might be good in other color 🙂
